Regulations – Landscaping and Planting

The Diocese of Tucson Catholic Cemeteries adheres to the following guidelines regarding the landscaping plants and materials.

• No landscaping plants or materials are to be removed, or added to the cemetery grounds without written authorization by the Executive Director of the cemeteries.
• Unauthorized planting will be removed. Any person or person(s) removing or moving landscaping plants or materials is subject to arrest by local law agencies.
• All work and all plantings of any kind on all lots and graves are strictly prohibited. The digging of holes for any purpose whatsoever other than by cemetery employees are, strictly prohibited.
• Diocese of Tucson Catholic Cemeteries shall have the right to refuse care and/or planting orders.
• Ornaments, such as plastic decorations, pinwheels, animal figurines, balloons, etc. are not permitted.
