Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus: This August our Catholic Cemeteries in the Diocese of Tucson celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Holy Hope Cemetery. For 100 years, Holy Hope has provided pastoral care to bereaved families. It has provided a loving and beautiful place of rest for loved ones. The grounds of our Catholic Cemeteries are graced with mementos of our faith and the hope that characterizes our lives. We see the Cross, a constant reminder of Christ’s amazing love for us, the saints whose lives serve as an inspiration to us, and the angels who bring us messages of comfort. I hope you feel the same pride that I feel in knowing that the church has and continues to provide loving care for families in their time of need.
